2021 Soccer Schedule

MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama soccer team announced its 2021 schedule on Wednesday, highlighted by eight home matches including three SEC opponents and one road match against an ACC opponent.

The Jaguars will kick off their season with two exhibition matches at Lipscomb (Aug. 9) in Nashville, Tenn., followed by a match against Mississippi State at The Cage (Aug. 14). The Jags will then travel to Troy, Ala., for the Trojan Classic at the Troy Soccer Complex Aug. 20-22.

USA will begin its regular season with a road trip to Tallahassee, Fla., when it takes on Florida State on Aug. 26. The Jaguars open their home schedule with two SEC opponents: Auburn on Aug. 29 and Ole Miss on Sept. 2. 

A five-game road trip, which includes the opening of Sun Belt Conference play, will start on Sept. 5 at North Alabama and will feature league matches at Arkansas State on Sept. 17 and Little Rock on Sept. 19.

South Alabama returns home on Sept. 24 when it hosts Texas State, followed by Louisiana on Sept. 26 before hitting the road again for Appalachian State (Sept. 30). The Jags return to The Cage on Oct. 3 to host Coastal Carolina before embarking on their final road trip to face Georgia State (Oct. 8) and ULM (Oct. 10). South will conclude its regular season with home matches against rival Troy on Oct. 15 and Georgia Southern on Oct 21.

The Sun Belt Tournament will be held once again at the Foley Sports Complex Nov. 1-7 in Foley, Ala.

"It's a challenge to see where you're at in comparison to the top teams in the country, and that challenge excites us," head coach Richard Moodie said about the upcoming season. "Getting Auburn and Ole Miss at home in The Cage is exciting for us. The schedule has some extremely good games on it, a lot of those will help us prepare for conference play."
