THEY SAID IT
Head coach Nick Brochu
- On this weekend's matches: "We just wrapped up a good conference weekend at home. We finished 2-0 against two good teams. We did some good things, and we saw what we need to work on and fix before this upcoming weekend. It's going to be a big weekend. We start on Friday against our rival Georgia State, and I know they're going to be ready. We've played them in the last three Conference Championships. I have a lot of respect for them as a team because they are a team that competes well and is well-coached. There is a lot of mutual respect between our two teams, and that's why our matches are always high level.
"Georgia Southern is a team that doesn't have many weak spots. All of their players are very steady, and we're definitely going to have to put in the work. We've played most of their players in the fall at the Mercer tournament. We've won most of our matches against them, but that doesn't mean anything. They've added some new players, and so did we. It's going to be a good challenge and a good battle at every single position."
