NEW ORLEANS – The annual "Battle For The Belt" football game between the University of South Alabama and Troy is set for a 1 p.m. (CST) kickoff, it was announced Monday by the Sun Belt Conference office.

The two teams will meet at Hancock Whitney Stadium on Saturday, Dec. 5, and the contest will be carried on ESPN3.  The original date of the game was Oct. 3, although it was pushed back due to precautionary measures concerning the availability of student-athletes.

The Jaguars will celebrate Senior Day that afternoon as well with it South's final outing of the regular season.
