THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu
- Closing out the fall season: "Today was a great way to finish the fall season. We had a disappointing day yesterday, and we needed to bounce back. We focused on playing with intensity from the very first point. It showed in doubles, and we were dominant."
"In singles, the strategy was to keep the pressure on our opponents, and we executed well. The only thing we struggled with today was slowing down when we had the lead. We had to refocus on change overs and finish strong. I'm very happy with the four who competed today."
- On Sébastien Collard: "Being able to finish the fall undefeated is incredible. It's impossible to play well for an entire fall season. Sébastien [Collard] was able to win even when he was having a bad day. He has shown so much maturity compared to last year. His game is so solid and has barely any weaknesses. The most exciting thing is that he knows he can get better. He has a big serve, but once it becomes more consistent, he will be even tougher! It's a big confidence boost for him. He is slowly turning into a leader on the court, at practice and in matches. We are very fortunate to have him for four more spring seasons."
