THEY SAID IT
Head coach Nick Brochu

- On the weekend: "It'll definitely be nice to play at home this weekend. Our goals for the weekend are to implement what we've been talking about in practice and work on the areas that were missing last weekend against Texas A&M and Oregon. We're looking for really high energy and team spirit. We will have to be ready to compete this weekend, while we prepare for the rest of the spring. This weekend will be a big test for our freshmen as they will have another chance to continue in their development on their home court. We're planning on trying out some different combinations in doubles, and in singles use some players in a higher position in order to see if they are capable of stepping up. It's a very important weekend for us.
"Lamar is a good team, you can't underestimate them. They've improved from last season. They are a complete team as everyone in their lineup (1-6) is capable of giving us a good challenge. We have to be ourselves and play hard. We are looking forward to playing in front of our fans this weekend."
