THEY SAID IT
Head coach Nick Brochu

- On the final day of competition at the Alabama Spring Shootout: "Tough day for us today, but overall we improved on some of the things we didn't do well yesterday. North Carolina is a top 10 team in the nation and Alabama is just outside the top 25 nationally, but that didn't stop us from competing very well. There were some close sets today. We played some great matches and even had some chance to close a couple. That is probably the only disappointment from this weekend, not counting wins and losses, but there were some matches that we should have been able to close. Situations where we were ahead or in position to close and we were unable to do so. On the positive side, our guys competed extremely hard. Our goal was to get better every match and I believe we were able to do that this weekend over the course of the three days."
