MORRIS REPEATS AS SUN BELT SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK

NEW ORLEANS – University of South Alabama senior Briana Morris has been voted the Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the second week in a row, the league announced Tuesday.

Morris shares the honor with Texas State's Kaylee Davis.

A native of Hoover, Ala., Morris recorded three goals over two games to add to her league-leading total as South Alabama won twice at the Jaguar Classic.

Against UAB in the opener on Friday, she scored twice, including the game-winner, in a 3-1 victory. On Sunday, she added another to extend her run of games with a goal to four, and increased her streak of consecutive games with at least one point to six, dating back to last season.

Morris paces the conference in goals (6) and points (13).

The Jaguars start a six-game road trip Thursday night at Southern Miss.
