THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu
On the draw: "Number two seed is good. I think the one thing we need to make sure we don't do is think about a rematch with Georgia State. Yes, we have played them in the final in the past two years and there is definitely a huge rivalry there. At the same time, we have a good first round match vs. Troy. The good thing about the first round, is we just played them this past Saturday. I think we handled them pretty well. The guys have a little mental edge after the 4-0 win. But at the same time, because we just beat them Troy is going to come back harder and try something different. The doubles point was very close, they felt that they could change a few things and win that. In singles we had some matches that looked pretty tight, so let's not look past them. Troy is going to be ready to play so we have to be ready as well. Overall we have a good draw, this year there is easily four or five teams that can win the conference. We have to take it one match at a time."
