QUOTES
Head Coach Nick Brochu
On the day: "It was a very long, cold day, but we got it done. It started rough by dropping the doubles point against UAB. Playing indoors was hard because UAB has powerful players who grew up playing indoors. We really had to dig deep and win many matches in three sets. Since we only had three courts to play on, the match took five hours!! It was mentally draining, but we pulled out the W! We only had two hours to regroup and play Samford. The guys did a great job at getting pumped and aggressive from the first point. Our top guys showed a lot of leadership by getting us on the board early. We showed a lot of character today since it was a physical challenge. I'm happy with the way we closed the day."
