MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama men's and women's track and field programs will close the regular-season indoor schedule Friday as they travel to the Birmingham CrossPlex for Samford's Bulldog Invitational.

NOTES
-Emilie Berge (indoor pentathlon), Graham Collins (heptathlon), Christian Ellis (triple jump), Autavia Fluker (shot put), and Onesmus Kemboi (5,000m) lead the Sun Belt Conference in their respective events. 
-Collins, Ellis, and Fluker set new standards in the all-time Jaguar record books this season.
-Thirty-nine student-athletes will travel to Birmingham to compete in the regular-season finale. 
-Friday's competition will begin at 8 a.m. with the women's weight throw. Running events will start at noon with the women's 60m preliminaries.

QUOTES FROM COACH BRUESKE
On the final indoor regular-season meet: "This is our last meet before conference. We saw some improvements last week. We still have some athletes on both sides who are looking to emerge. We've got some people who are kind of on the bubble of having a great performance. We want to see continual improvement so that we have more momentum heading into the conference meet."
 
On recapping the indoor season: "We've had some adversity, which is not unusual. We've had some strange injuries and things that have happened, but the athletes are continuing to work hard and hopefully we'll be able to put together a good performance at conference."
