HE SAID IT
Head coach Nick Brochu

- On his thoughts about this weekend's tournament: "Today was the last day of a long tournament. Clay court matches are always longer, so by the time that you get to the third day of competition everybody is more tired and achy than normal. The positive from today is I liked the way we finished the tournament. Louis [Delcour] came up with a big win against a conference rival and that was great to see. Seb [Sébastien Collard] continued his solid play with another decisive win. Ezra [Blissard] really pushed hard and took his match to a third set, but he had a little leg injury at the end that brought him down. I was happy to see us finish on a good note and we didn't take it lightly. Overall our results weren't the best, but I liked the way we competed and we saw some good things out there."
- On the next phase of preparation for the spring: "Now we head into the offseason where we can do a lot of conditioning and make sure we are sharp and maybe take a small break from tennis this week and really focus on school because we've been traveling so much this fall. Overall, it was a great fall and we were able to play a ton of tournaments and get our guys match experience. We had some great results and some no so great, but that's normal when you have a young team. Our freshmen are developing well and we're excited about the spring."
