THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu
On the match: Great match today. So close. We played aggressive in doubles and really took it to them. Nothing better than having the doubles points come down to our no.1 doubles team who had such a good Fall!

On singles: We showed a lot of energy going into singles. Being the first match of the season, I think we got tight at some positions. It's hard mentally when you lose serve after being up 40-15. We need to learn to close games better.

On the opening weekend: But overall I'm happy with today. We competed so good against a top 25 team. We were up 1-0 and winning on 3 courts. So we were in position to win. We just need to relax in tough situations and close the set and match when we are up.  Today shows that we are very good and talented. It is exciting for the rest of the season.
