MEN'S TENNIS PICKS UP TWO WINS TO CLOSE THOMASVILLE INVITATIONAL

THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The University of South Alabama men's tennis team finished the Thomasville Invitational with matchups against West Florida and Valdosta State on Sunday.
 
WEST FLORIDA
DOUBLES
- Santiago di Loreto and Max Lapraille took their doubles match 6-3, 6-4.
 
SINGLES
- Ezra Blissard fell in his singles match 6-1, 6-3
- Collin Scheufler lost 6-4, 6-2 in his singles match against West Florida.
 
VALDOSTA STATE
DOUBLES
- Scheufler and Blissard dropped a 6-1, 6-2 decision in doubles.
 
SINGLES
- Lapraille took his singles match on court 1 7-6(5), 6-0.
- Di Loreto fell in a tightly contested three-set match 6-4, 2-6, 10-7.
 
UP NEXT
The Jags will send four student-athletes, Loic Cloes, Clement Marzol, Samuel Serrano and Sacha Modica, to the Saint Francis Health System ITA All-American in Tulsa, Okla. Action begins Sept. 29 with pre-qualifying matches.
