THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu
On the matchup against Troy: "Troy is always a competitive match regardless of the ranking of each team. I know they always look forward to playing us and it's always down to the wire so we have to be ready. We weren't happy with the result on Wednesday. A lot of the guys are feeling better about this. Especially the ones who didn't compete and play to the level that we should put up on the court. I think a lot of guys are looking at redemption and to bounce back and show their teammates that we got some talented players at the top of the lineup, but we have depth as well. Wednesday, that's where we fell short. The back of the lineup didn't produce. I think those guys took a good look in the mirror and made sure they are ready for Saturday. Saturday will be a big test. We need it for a confidence boost. It's a conference match, but also we look at the season overall and we need to get back on track. After coming off a great weekend at H.E.B., Wednesday was unacceptable form. We have two days of training and I think we'll be ready for Troy on Saturday."
