THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu
On doubles: "We fought hard today, but we started a little flat in doubles. Our number one team was serving with four match points when Georgia State clinched. We played solid on court one, but we had a slow start on courts two and three and never caught up."
Â
On singles: "In singles, we knew we had the lineup to win. We played hard at most positions, but we realized some guys needed to step up their game. It starts at practice. We need to press harder and be hungrier in matches. We are young, but we saw today that Georgia State's players were louder and showing more emotion. Our new guys are still shy and our captains need to lead by example. I was very happy with our top guys who keep adding wins. Loic won a great match today and Clement was one game away from winning."
Â
On looking ahead: "We need to get back to work on Monday and make sure the intensity is at 100 percent every day."
