THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu
Opening statement: "Great day. Great weather. We haven't had that since January. It's good to be outside in front of our fans, so it's always good to have a win at home."

On positives from the match: "The key was Sacha, that was his second match playing Division 1. He played last week against Auburn, and it was a little fresh. But today, he was the first one to get us on the board. He was also the one to win the first set. He gave us a lot of momentum, and I was very pleased with doubles today. We showed so much energy, and right off the bat, we got on top of them and never took our foot off the pedal."

On overcoming the loss to Auburn: "It's a great feeling to get out here. From the first ball until the end, we were high intensity, and the best part is, last week we had a nail-biter against Auburn 4-3, and the guys are very bitter about that. We had our chances, and we didn't take them. We couldn't close the match on some positions, and the guys are still mad about this. They decided to do something about it, and the best way to do that is to start very aggressive and stay like that. I was very pleased with their character today."
