NOTES
- Last week the Jags dropped a close match against Auburn, 4-3.
- The Jags took the doubles point behind victories by the pairings Loic Cloes/Clement Marzol and Sacha Modica/Olivier Gingras.
- Cloes and Marzol also took their singles matches to improve their records to 10-3 and 7-3 respectively.
- Lamar won its first match of the season against Jacksonville State last week.
- Lamar will face Troy and Southern Mississippi on Feb. 12 before facing the Jags.

On last week: "It's going to be good to be home tomorrow. We come back from last week off a very close match against Auburn. We finally got to practice today. We didn't get to practice the two days after Auburn. I think we have only had three days of practice in the last week. It's good to jump on the court. The weather looks nice for our match. I think the guys are excited as well."
On the guys' performances to this point: "We are starting to build up some momentum. Clement [Marzol] and Loic [Cloes] came up with two big victories against Auburn. We got a big doubles point in two tough matches. It's exciting. Even though we lost a close one to Auburn. Our freshman are playing better. Pepperdine was really close, too. We're not too worried. The upsets are going to come soon. As long as our freshman continue to improve every day we are pleased. I think tomorrow will be a good test."
