THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu
On the consolation championship: "It was a tough loss today.  Losing by three little points always hurts, but I'm so proud of those guys; they had a great tournament.  We had a slow start in the first set but kept fighting.  Penn State played well to close the first set, but we stormed back in the second set and got our confidence back.  We played a solid tiebreaker to force a third-set super breaker.  Penn State played huge and took a quick 5-1 lead.  From that point we were playing catch up, and we almost did.  We were serving at 7-9 and they hit the top of the net and the ball bounced over our racket, which was bad luck because we were coming back and the pressure on them was growing.  Overall, it was a great tournament.  We got three key wins and learned a lot from match to match."
