THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu
On the first match of the spring: "It's going to be good to started. The weather has been kind of cold and the guys are excited to have some nice weather and to start to play matches. We added some new players in January. Having nine players this year will make it interesting. It will be fun to see the new guys playing. We've got different combinations in doubles we want to try this weekend. Without looking past Xavier (La.), we are planning on using this match to prepare for the ITA Kickoff next week. The ITA will be one of the biggest events of the season for us. I think our match this weekend will be good prep. We are looking for guys to play aggressive this weekend as if we were playing at the ITA kickoff."
On Olivier Gingras being the only senior: "We have one senior this year, Olli [Gingras]. He is looking forward to stepping up and being a leader on the court. We have the same expectations of him. I think it's going to be exciting to see him play this weekend."
