South Alabama holds a 31-13 all-time lead over Louisiana-Monroe in a series that dates back to 1979. The Jaguars swept three games from the Warhawks last season at Stanky Field, outscoring them 35-6 over the three-game set, and have won 10 of the last 12 meetings dating back to 2013. USA took two of three games from ULM the last time the series was played in Monroe in 2015. South Alabama has won nine straight series over ULM dating back to the 2008 season. The Jags are 13-3 all-time against the Warhawks under head coach Mark Calvi.Â
Last Time Out
USA fell at Southeastern Louisiana 12-9 Tuesday in Hammond, La. The Jags homered four times in the game (Barnes, Hardy, LaBounty & Paparella), which tied the Feb. 26 performance at Baylor with the most in a game this season. South Alabama committed a season-high four errors in the loss at SLU, and surrendered double-digit runs for the second straight contest and third in the last four games.
On ULM
The Warhawks dropped a pair of midweek contests to Northwestern State after falling in two of three games at Georgia Southern last weekend. ULM enters the weekend tied for fourth with Arkansas State in the SBC West standings at 4-5. The Warhawks carry a three-game losing skid into the weekend series, and have dropped five of their last six contests. ULM is 5-5 at home this year, and took two of three games from Little Rock in its lone home SBC series to date. The Warhawks enter the weekend last in the league in runs scored (114), while the ULM pitching staff ranks last in the SBC in ERA (6.38), opposing batting average (.309), hits allowed (333), home runs allowed (34), runs allowed (228) and earned runs allowed (188).Â
JAGS IN NATIONAL RANKINGS
South Alabama ranks third nationally in walks (172), 10th in scoring (8.1 runs per game), 12th in runs scored (234), 13th in on-base percentage (.411), 21st in home runs (33) and 22nd in home runs per game (1.14).
SWAGGERTY IN NATIONAL RANKINGS
Center fielder Travis Swaggerty leads the SBC and ranks 24th in the nation in on-base percentage (.504) entering the weekend. Swaggerty ranks third in the league in batting average (.375) and tied for fourth in RBI (28).
JAGS ON THE ROAD
USA is 5-10 on the road this season, including a 3-3 record in Sun Belt play. The Jags enter the weekend batting .276 with 28 doubles, one triple, 24 home runs, 94 RBI, 100 runs scored and 10 stolen bases in 15 road games. USA is hitting .279 with 12 doubles, eight home runs, 33 RBI, 38 runs scored and three stolen bases in six road SBC games entering the weekend.

The Jags are batting .321 (102-for-318) with runners in scoring position.Travis Swaggerty leadw the team with 13 hits with RISP. South Alabama batted just .063 (1-for-16) in last weekend's three-game series at No. 21 Louisiana-Lafayette, with Brendan Donovan recording the lone hit with runners in scoring position in the series.

USA is 8-0 when scoring 10 or more runs this season and 13-3 when scoring six or more, but is 3-9 when scoring five or less.Â
DONOVAN DURING CAREER STREAK
Brendan Donovan carries a career-best eight-game hitting streak into the weekend, along with a team-best 15-game on-base streak. He is batting .414 with two doubles, one home run, nine RBI, seven runs scored and three stolen bases along with a .586 slugging percentage and .553 OBP. Donovan has driven in five of eight runs during his hitting streak, and has three multi-hit and three multi-RBI performances.u
HOME RUN PRODUCTION
South Alabama has homered in four straight games, and in nine of its last 11 contests dating back to March 18 at Georgia Southern when the Jags homered three times. USA homered four times in Tuesday's loss at Southeastern Louisiana, giving the team 34 on the year and surpassing last year's season total of 31 home runs.
JAG BATS LAST WEEK
South Alabama hit just .238 with five doubles, four home runs, 11 RBI and 11 runs scored in four games last week. However, catcher Jared Barnes batted .500 (5-for-10) with one run scored to lead the team over that four-game span.Â
LABOUNTY HEATING UP AT THE PLATE
Shortstop Drew LaBounty has homered in his last three games entering the weekend, and also recorded multiple hits in each of those contests. In his last seven games, LaBounty is hitting . 417 with three doubles, three home runs, six RBI and 11 runs scored while posting a .576 OBP and .917 slugging percentage. He has recorded four multiple-hit and one multi-RBI game during that span. LaBounty enters the weekend ranked third in the league in OBP (.490), fourth in slugging percentage (.595) and tied for eighth in walks (21).
HUSTON COMB INES FOR SHUTOUT AT ULL
Left-hander Thomas Huston combined with right-hander Matt Peacock to shut out No. 21 Louisiana-Lafayette 6-0 last Saturday in Lafayette, La. Huston allowed just three hits and struck out six against two walks in seven innings pitched to earn his third win of the season. The southpaw has earned wins in each of his last three starts, all of which have come in SBC action. He has recorded 21 strikeouts against four walks in 20 2/3 Â innings during that span.Â
BELL ALLOWS CAREER HIGHS AT ULL
Right-hander Randy Bell allowed career highs in runs (7) and hits allowed (12) in last Friday's loss at Louisiana-Lafayette in just 4 1/3 innings pitched, which marked the shortest start of his Jaguar career. Bell enters Friday's start ranked third in the SBC in strikeouts (50).Â
