BATON ROUGE, La. – The University of South Alabama men's tennis team closed out the ITA Southern Regional with Loic Cloes and Clement Marzol in singles and Lucas Gonzalez and Olivier Gingras in doubles.
 
SINGLES
Consolation
-Cloes defeated Cotter Wilson of Ole Miss 6-4, 6-3.
-Marzol took down Alabama's Alexey Nesterov in a three-set showdown 4-6, 6-1, 1-0 (8).
 
DOUBLES
Round of 16
-Gingras and Gonzales fell to Ole Miss's Zvonimar Babic and Filip Kraljevic 8-1.

On the day and tournament: "Even though we had a bad start to the tournament, we finished on a good note with two singles victories. Doubles were hard for us as we didn't serve as well as we can, and they were more aggressive than us at the net."
