- Williams can become the third player in school history to lead the team in scoring for three consecutive seasons
- Williams' 106 assists are the most by a Jaguar since 2007-08, and he is the first USA player to lead the team in scoring and have more than 100 assists since Demetrice Williams in 2001-02
- Williams ranks third at South Alabama in career 3-pointers (203) and needs five to tie for second
- Stover was third on the team in scoring (10.1 ppg) in his first season at USA after transferring from Loyola Marymount
- Calhoun paced the team with 43 steals, the most by a Jaguar since Martino Brock in 2010-11
- Calhoun converted 49 times from 3-point land last year – second on the team – at a 35.5 percent clip, which was best on the team
- Haslam and Mitchell were redshirted last year

Matthew Graves
- On having a lot of experience at the '2' and '3': "It's extremely beneficial when you're talking about Ken Williams, who has been here for four years, Nick Stover for three years, and Shaq Calhoun for two years. Those guys have been through the practices and a complete season. They understand the ebbs and flows that you'll encounter. The great thing about those three guys, is you have a nice rotation of guys that can play the '2' and the '3'. That creates competition in practice, accountability in games and anytime you have guys battling for minutes in spots, there's a fine line between accepting your role and wanting to get better. I think a big key for this season will be those three guys in particular, finding a balance between that."
- On what Stover brings to the team: "Nick is a fifth-year senior, having played at Loyola Marymount and transferring here, so being a fifth-year guy has allowed him to have many different experiences. He has the ability to articulate what we're trying to do. It can carry over to the younger players that rely on the experiences that he's had."
- On what makes Stover such a great stat-sheet stuffer: "Out of the three wings, he's probably the most versatile. He can defend multiple position, he can rebound at a high rate – we really need him to improve in that area, but he can do that – he can put the ball on the floor and make plays, not only for himself but for others, and he's improved his 3-point shooting. There are a lot of different hats that he's capable of wearing and at the end of the night, he can almost put a stat up in each category."
- On Williams' recovery from his injury: "Certainly it took him some time to recover from the injury. Just like a lot of people would, he picked up some excess weight after the surgery and he's worked hard to get his body back in great shape. Our strength and conditioning coach has done a great job of getting his body-fat percentage back down, his lung capacity is really good and is getting in better shape. I'm really looking forward to him having a great senior season."
- On Calhoun's toughness: "With Shaq, he's our toughest guy. He likes and embraces physicality. He plays with that edge that you like to see from your team. He walks the line, and I think that's a good thing if it's channeled appropriately. It gives our team a better edge. I really like his competitive spirit and I think that gives our team a great identity."

Nick Stover
- On playing his final college season: "The final go-around is a little stressful and there's some pressure, but it's what we live for. When you stay at a place so long or play for a long time, that last go-around is what makes it memorable. How you go out your last time really speaks to who you are as a player."
- On what makes his partnership with Williams so special together on the court: "This is our third year together and we've always talked – on and off the court – about our aspirations and what we want to do for this team. We both have similar goals to reach and we know we can use each other to reach those goals."
- On his expectations for the upcoming season: "Personally, my expectations are to do anything I can to carry this team as far as possible, whether it's averaging this many points or this many rebounds, or being the glue guy to bring everybody together. As a team, winning the Sun Belt and getting to the NCAA Tournament is our goal right now."
- On his role as a leader on the team: "I enjoy being a leader. I feel like, being the oldest, some guys look up to me and take advice from me. I like it when people can understand what I'm saying and not take it in a negative way. I think I have that personality and the ability to bring people together. I think that's something that this team needs."
