MOBILE, Ala. – University of South Alabama sophomore
Taishaun Johnson will transfer out of the men's basketball program at the end of the fall semester.
The decision to leave was made by mutual consent. He will not play the rest of the season.
"Taishaun and I talked and we both agreed it would be in our best interests to part ways at this point in time," USA head coach
Matthew Graves said. "We wish him all the best going forward."
In one-plus seasons, the Indianapolis, Ind. native averaged 12.2 points and 4.0 rebounds in 38 appearances. He set school freshman records for points (414), and free throws made (138) and attempted (177) in 2014-15.
