MOBILE, Ala. – University of South Alabama baseball will host Alabama State Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Stanky Field.

The game will be broadcast live on WNSP 105.5 FM in Mobile, and can be accessed nationwide at WNSP.com. Live streaming will also be available for purchase through the All-Access section at USAJaguars.com. USA (1-2) will look to rebound from Sunday's 5-4 loss to Tennessee Tech which clinched the three-game weekend series for the Golden Eagles. USA outhit TTU in each game of the series, but left 32 men on base while Jag pitchers struck out 23 TTU batters but issued 20 walks.

Logan Kirkland leads the Jags with a .500 batting average through the first three games of the year, going 6-for-12 in the TTU series with three runs scored and one RBI. Bud Collura leads the team in RBI with three. The Jaguars enter Tuesday's contest against Alabama State with a .339 team batting average, and have recorded 11 or more hits in each of their first three games.

The Jaguar pitching staff carries a 3.41 team ERA into Tuesday's matchup. USA pitchers recorded 23 strikeouts in three games against the Golden Eagles, but issued 20 base on balls.

Alabama State (2-1) enters the contest having won two of three games over Eastern Kentucky last weekend in Montgomery. The Hornets dropped their season opener before taking the final two games of the series. ASU carries a .314 team batting average and 4.00 team ERA into Tuesday's game.

Starting pitchers for each team were yet to be determined as of press time.
