Shaari was named the Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year and also first-team all-league last week, capping a year that saw the freshman post a 74.04 stroke average, 12 rounds at or below par and six top-10 results.  She ranked second in the league in both scoring average and score vs. par, posting a career-best 69 on four occasions and a career-low 54-hole total of 7-under-par 209 at the Bama Beach Bash in March, earning medalist honors while helping the Jaguars to the team title.
