Hill tossed a one-hit shutout and struck out a career-high 15 batters to record his seventh consecutive win and second complete game of the season in Friday’s series opener with Georgia State. The right-hander carried a no-hitter into the ninth inning, aided by a stretch where he retired 16 consecutive GSU batters from the third to the eighth inning. His 15 strikeouts, which came against a Panther squad that entered the weekend leading the Sun Belt with a .307 batting average in conference games, were the most since P.J. Walters' struck out 15 against Georgia Southern in 2006.
