He hit safely in all four contests, tallying multiple hits in each game, and drove in at least one run in each game including three multi-RBI performances. Barnes went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI and one run scored in Tuesday’s win at No. 10 LSU, and finished 3-for-5 with two doubles, one RBI and one run scored in the series opening win at Appalachian State. He capped the weekend with a three-hit performance in game two, along with a career-high five RBI and one run scored, and a two-hit day in the series finale along with five RBI and one run scored.
