Francis recorded career highs with seven catches for 146 yards and two touchdowns in South Alabama’s game at Idaho, leading all players in each category while posting the most receiving yards by a Jaguar this fall.  Both his touchdowns came in the first half and helped the Jags draw within one score of the Vandals, including a career-long 75-yard reception on the first play after South fell behind by 10 points midway through the second quarter.  It was the first time in over a year that a Jaguar has caught multiple touchdown passes in a game — Everett was the last to do so in an Oct. 3 victory at Troy last fall — and the second-highest yards receiving posted by a tight end in program history.
