In her first two career starts Williams helped South Alabama achieve a 2-0 record last week as she had or tied for the team lead in almost every category: points (30), steals (eight), assists (seven), rebounds (10), field goal percentage (52.2%) and free throw percentage (83.3%). Â In the Jaguars' home-opening win against Spring Hill Williams had a game-high 12 points and three steals, grabbed six boards and made the only three pointer of the game for the Jaguars. Â At New Orleans on Saturday, Williams had game-highs and career-highs of 18 points, five steals and six assists in addition to four rebounds. Â Her five steals all came in the first half and helped the Jags forced the Privateers to 16 of their 22 turnovers in the half. Â Williams didn't miss a shot in the second half, going 4-4 from both the field and the line. Â All four free throws came with less than two minutes that helped give the Jaguars a lead and then preserve it.
