Rohr was the top point scorer for the Jaguars at the 2016 Sun Belt Conference Championship, helping the team to a second-place finish with a total score of 138. On Saturday night the senior led wire-to-wire to claim the 3,000-meter steeplechase, finishing four seconds ahead of the runner-up after crossing the line in 9:06.82; it was the ninth time in his career he earned all-league honors, but his first individual victory. Rohr returned on Sunday and placed third in the 1,500-meter run as his time of 3:54.81 was just .38 seconds behind the winner of the race, teammate Christoph Graf.
