Berge set a new Sun Belt pentathlon record and earned all-conference honors in three events at the Sun Belt Indoor Track and Field Championships Monday and Tuesday as she accumulated 28 of the team's 69 points with wins in the pentathlon and long jump and a second-place finish in the high jump. Berge scored 4,079 points in the pentathlon Tuesday to shatter the conference record previously held by fellow Jaguar Lindsay Schwartz, winning the long jump portion of the event (5.82m, 19-01.25) and finishing second in the 800m (2:22.91), shot put (12.26m, 40-02.75) and high jump (1.77m, 5-09.75) sections. The Iveland, Vest-Agder, Norway native's high jump mark was a personal-best which ranked second on the Sun Belt season performance list and third in the all-time USA record books. Berge was the only person to surpass 6.00m (19-08.00) in the conference long jump this season with her 6.03m (19-09.50) mark on Monday the best in the Sun Belt this year and the second-longest in South Alabama history.
