Collins recorded a second-place finish in the pole vault at the NCAA Men's Indoor Track and Field Championship on Friday, becoming the Jaguars' first indoor first-team All-American since the 2000 season. He broke his own school record in the event after clearing 5.45m at the championship, as it was the sixth time in as many meets this season that the freshman has finished for or second in the discipline. Colllins' eight points helped USA end up among the top 30 in the final team standings, as the Jags were the highest finishers at the competition both in the state and the Sun Belt Conference.
