Shirtcliffe played all 90 minutes and tallied an assist in South Alabama’s 2-1 win over Troy to open the conference season… Shirtcliffe led a defense that held the Trojans to one goal off a set piece, and 10 shots, six below their season average coming into the game… She assisted on the match-winning goal, serving up a free kick near the sideline that was volleyed home… The Jags’ win ended the Trojans’ eight-match win streak.
