In her first collegiate action, South Alabama freshman outside hitter Jessica Lewis made an immediate impact on the Jaguar lineup. At the Jaguar Invitational, Lewis recorded double-figures kill tallies in all three matches and led the club with 52.5 points, 48 kills and a 4.36 kills per set average, en route to earning all-tournament honors and being named the Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Week.  She also registered 22 digs (2.00 dps), three block assists and three service aces on the weekend.
