Over the last five games, Nixon led the way offensively for the Lady Jags averaging 9.0 points per game.  The Pensacola, Fla. native also ranked third on the club with 6.0 rpg.  She played in four of USA's five games, only missing the one due to injury.  Her best outing of the reporting period came in South Alabama's first Sun Belt Conference win of the season - a 53-47 victory over Arkansas State (12/29) - where she nearly had her first double-double of the season, finishing with 16 points and nine rebounds.  Nixon was 7-of-16 from the floor for the Jaguars and 2-for-3 from the arc.  Both her three pointers came during an 18-3 second-half run that gave USA the lead for good.  She currently leads the club and ranks 13th in the league in scoring with 12.3 points per outing.  Nixon is seventh in the SBC in three-point shooting, connecting on 35.1 percent of her attempts.
