Torres won both the hammer throw and the discus at the inaugural Jaguar Invitational Saturday, while he placed ninth in the hammer and 12th in the discus at the Texas Relays earlier in the week.  He earned the Jaguars' first title of the day Saturday on a 56.47m effort in the hammer, while he recorded a 57.54m mark in the event in Austin.  Torres' throw of 52.90m was good enough to win the discus at USA's home meet by over a meter later in the day.
