South Alabama enters its third consecutive weekend of split competition after competing at the Southern Miss Invitational and the Doc Anderson Invitational last week.

Several Jaguars remain among the nation's top performers early in the outdoor season. Jonathan Henderson is tied for 14th nationally in the high jump (2.15m | 7-0.5), while Samuel Warriner ranks 16th in the decathlon (7,034 points) following a personal-best performance. Will Frederick moved into the top 25 nationally in the pole vault after clearing 5.35m (17-6.5), ranking 21st, while Terek Logan sits 25th at 5.30m (17-4.5). Reuben Booysen also ranks 25th nationally in the javelin with a mark of 68.97m (226-3).

On the women's side, Calli Stokes ranks 24th nationally in the heptathlon after totaling 5,100 points at the Doc Anderson Invitational.

During last weekend's split meets, the Jaguars posted several standout performances across six event victories. At Troy, Warriner captured the decathlon title with 7,012 points, highlighted by wins in the 400m, 110m hurdles, and long jump. Stokes followed with a runner-up finish in the heptathlon, totaling 5,100 points with event wins in the shot put and javelin.

Samuel Mika headlined the weekend with a meet-record throw of 61.33m (201-2) to win the men's hammer, marking one of the top performances in the NCAA this season. Reuben Booysen added a runner-up finish, while Joshua Acker and Mose Piper delivered top-10 performances to showcase the Jaguars' depth.

Iyana Johnson claimed the women's hammer throw title with a mark of 58.69m (192-6), while Flora Dupans added a third-place finish.

In the pole vault, Will Frederick cleared a meet-record 5.35m to win the men's competition, while Diana Goodman led a 1-2 finish in the women's event with a meet-record clearance of 3.95m. Caitlynn Morgan followed in second.
- South Alabama will have 37 athletes compete at the USSU Eagles Invitational at Jaguar Track on Saturday, with a strong group of Jaguars set to take part across multiple events, while 33 Jags will head to Tuscaloosa tomorrow for the Crimson Classic.
