MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Riverwalk Stadium, home of the Montgomery Biscuits will be the neutral site host in Tuesday night's midweek match-up between South Alabama (9-3) and UAB (7-5) at 6:00 p.m.


SERIES HISTORY
South Alabama and UAB have a rich history with games dating back to 1979. The Blazers are number 10 in the most common opponents in history list for the Jaguars with the Tuesday night match-up marking the 90th contest between the two programs, while South Alabama leads the all-time series 54-35.  It is the first time the teams will meet at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, Ala.


SCOUTING THE BLAZERS
The 7-5 Blazers enter the midweek coming off their first series victory of the season when it took two of three from Jacksonville in Birmingham. The Blazers have an ASUN-leading 21 home runs in the early going, with 7 over the weekend and have at least one in nine consecutive games. UAB dropped its first two series of the season, first at Florida (lost 2/3) and hosting Cincinnati (lost 2/3), but have won both midweek contests thus far against North Alabama and Alabama State coming into Tuesday against the Jaguars.

PRIMARY THREADS

• The Jaguars are coming off its first weekend sweep since 2022 when it outscored West Georgia 30-11 this weekend.
• The South Alabama offense run-ruled the Wolves on Saturday with a season-high 21 runs to six. Blake Guerin went 5-9 with two homers and a double to lead the offense. Daniel Gonzalez recorded the win on Sunday and tallied a career-high nine strikeouts.
• The Jaguar offense is hitting .333 with two outs and have 46 RBI. 53% of the teams RBI have been in two out situations.
• Leadoff hitter Brennon Wright leads the Jags in both the hits (20) and batting average (.476) departments. Wright's on-base percentage is also north of .600 (.607).
• Senior southpaw Hayden O'Dell will make his third start of the season in Montgomery, Ala.
