Against Arkansas State, Phillips led the bunch with 157 yards on the ground and three touchdowns. Phillips also added a 100-yard kick return, which was the first one in almost 10 years for the Jags. He finished with 264 all-purpose yards and four scores.
  • Cole Blaylock leads South Alabama with 42 tackles, including 11 tackles at Kentucky and 10 at Arkansas State. The Jaguar defense has forced 11 turnovers, including two interceptions and a fumble recovery against Arkansas State. Masey Lewis, who recovered a fumble against ULM, had an interception and a forced fumble in the Arkansas State game.
