MOBILE, Ala. | A pair of matchups with LSU at Jaguar Field highlight the eight-game home fall schedule as announced by South Alabama softball on Monday. All eight games for the Jaguars will be held in about a month's time, running Sept. 27 – Oct. 23. Admission to all games during the fall is free. 

The fall schedule gets underway with back-to-back games on Saturday, September 27 versus Mississippi Gulf Coast at 1 p.m., and on Sunday, Sept. 28 versus Pearl River Community College. 

The following week, South is scheduled for two more games versus Mobile (10/2) at 6 p.m. and Bishop State CC (10/4) at 1 p.m.

The Jaguars will then host Northwest Florida State on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 5 p.m. The Raiders captured the program's first NJCAA National Championship after defeating top-seeded Florida Southwestern State and finishing with an astounding 61 victories.

South will then host LSU in back-to-back games on Oct. 16-17 at 6 p.m. and 4 p.m., respectively. The Tigers won 42 games in 2025 and finished ranked in the Top 25 of all four national polls after making their 19th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance.

The Jags will host Coastal Alabama on Thursday, Oct. 23 in their final game of the fall. First pitch for that contest is set for 6 p.m.

South Alabama will open fall practice this week on Wednesday.
