MOBILE, Ala. — South Alabama hosted a last-chance qualifying meet Sunday at Jaguar Track, where several athletes delivered strong performances ahead of the NCAA East First Rounds later this month.
Javon Glenn matched his time from the Sun Belt Conference Championships in the 200 meters, placing third with a time of 21.27 seconds.
Will Frederick set a personal best in the men's pole vault, clearing 5.31 meters (17 feet, 4½ inches) to take second place. The mark moves him to No. 21 in the NCAA East Region rankings.
In the women's pole vault, Dianna Goodman and Alexis Gratia each cleared 3.96 meters (12-9½), finishing second and third, respectively.
Iyana Johnson won the women's hammer throw with a top toss of 56.65 meters (185-10), while Flora Dupans earned third place with a personal-best throw of 52.32 meters (171-8).
In the women's high jump, Kayden Engel cleared 1.69 meters (5 feet, 5½ inches) to finish second.
On the track, Bo Webb placed third in the men's 400-meter hurdles with a time of 55.19 seconds.

South Alabama will send multiple athletes to the NCAA East First Rounds, set for May 28–31 at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida.
