HARRISONBURG, Va. – Kendal White shattered a school record and claimed a Sun Belt title, leading the way as four Jaguars earned All-Conference honors to cap off a strong showing by the South Alabama Track & Field program at the 2025 Sun Belt Championships.
The men's team wrapped up the meet in fourth place with 107 points, while the women's squad earned 68 points to finish sixth overall. Texas State swept the team titles, with the men scoring 145 points and the women tallying 119 to narrowly edge out Louisiana (108).
Senior Kendal White highlighted Day Three for the Jaguars, storming down the final stretch to win the 400-meter hurdles, capturing the Sun Belt title and setting a new school record with a time of 50.02. His win marked South Alabama's second conference title of the weekend, joining Reuben Booysen, who claimed first place in the javelin on Thursday.
Two Jaguars earned their second All-Conference honors of the meet in the 5,000 meters. Charleen Elizondo captured her second bronze medal of the weekend with a time of 16:58.72, while Sacha Perrier raced to a silver medal with a time of 14:25.25—his second of the championships.
In the 800 meters, Jordan Morrison recorded a personal best of 1:51.33, finishing fourth.
Javon Glenn ran a personal best of 46.49 in the 400 meters to win the bronze, and later placed sixth in the 200 meters with a time of 21.25.
Freshman standout Jadon Thomason broke his own school record in the 110-meter hurdles, clocking 13.87 to finish fourth overall.
In the women's 100-meter hurdles, Allie Germann posted a personal best of 13.85, finishing seventh.
In field events, Flora Dupans placed fifth in the discus with a throw of 45.25 meters (148-5), while Kayden Engel cleared 1.71 meters (5-7¼) in the high jump, also earning fifth.
Capping off the weekend, the men's 4x400-meter relay team, featuring Juan Hill, Dallas Beck, Marlon Miller, and Morrison, stormed to a bronze-medal finish with a blistering time of 3:09.82 in the final event of the meet.
