WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. | Led by Katharina Schroll, who tied for fifth with an even-par 216, South Alabama women's golf placed three inside the Top 15 Monday afternoon at the Boilermaker Spring Classic held at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex on the Ackerman-Allen Course.

Both Cassidy Lambert and Flavia Tamburlini tied for 11 with a five-over par 221 at the event, while the Jags fired a three-round 888 (296-292-300) to tie for fifth with Minnesota at the event.

Illinois claimed victory with a three-round total of 875 (+11), while the individual medalist was Illinois State's Elise Fennell with a three-round total of 211 to finish at seven-under.

•    Schroll was tied for fourth in the field with 11 birdies, and now has a team-best 81 this season
