MOBILE, Ala. | South Alabama softball welcomes Sun Belt Conference leader ULM for a three-game series this weekend at Jaguar Field, the final home series of the season. The two teams are scheduled to open the series on Thursday night at 6 p.m., with game two of the series set for a 5 p.m. start on Friday, and the series finale set for Saturday at 3:33 p.m.

South Alabama (19-29, 8-12 SBC) enters its final SBC series of the spring versus Troy after taking two of three over league leader ULM in Mobile. After dropping game one of the series, South Alabama bounced back to pick up games two and three, out-scoring the Warhawks 10-3 in those contests.
Ryley Harrison (9-6) returned to the circle to pick up both wins, allowing just one run (0.70 ERA) in the series, while striking out 12. For her play in the series, Harrison was named the Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday.
Harrison leads the club with nine wins and the sophomore holds a 2.79 earned run average, while she has also struck out 90 batters. In conference play, Harrison has allowed just 13 earned runs in her 52.1 innings of work for a 1.74 ERA, which is third lowest among league pitchers, while she has also struck out 51, which is fourth, and her 15 strikeouts looking are third-most in league play. Harrison ranks in the Top 10 of the league in ERA (sixth), strikeouts (eighth), strikeouts looking (29, seventh) and saves (t-fifth).
Gabby Stagner (.347) leads the team in several offensive categories as she has 11 home runs, holds a .678 slugging percentage and a team-high 40 RBI. She is tied for fourth in triples (3), and also ranks among the league leaders as she is eighth in OPS, ninth in on-base percentage and RBI, and just outside the Top 10 in home runs. Stagner has a team-best 13 multi-RBI games this season and is also tied for the team lead in multi-hit games with 10.
Presley Lively is batting .283 and the true freshman ranks second in the Sun Belt triples (4) and third in walks (32), while her 15 stolen bases are tied for sixth most in the SBC and she is tied for eighth in runs scored (43). Lively has scored two or more runs in 12 games this spring, and she also has 10 multi-hit games and five multi-RBI games. Of her 39 hits, 10 have gone for extra bases, including an inside-the-park home run.
Olivia Branstetter (.328) has been hit by pitch 11 times this season which ranks in the Top 10 of the league, while her .467 on-base percentage is sixth best.
As a team, South is second in triples, and ranks third in hit-by-pitch (42) – tied for 28th in the NCAA .
