South Blanks Louisiana 4-0 for 27th Straight Home Victory

Box Score MOBILE, Ala.- The Jaguars secured their 27th straight victory at Bruce David Lubel Memorial as they blanked Louisiana in a 4-0 final. 

South made quick work in doubles, as Delien Kleinhans and Rio Maeda dominated with a 6-0 win to get things rolling. Chems Doha Zeghlouli and Kenza Elakili followed with an impressive 6-1 victory to give the Jags the doubles point. 

South continued to showcase their dominance as singles rolled around with Chems Doha Zeghlouli picking up the 6-2, 6-1 win. Jade Marie earned another points for the Jags as she downed her opponent 6-3, 6-1. Kenza Elakili put the finishing touches as she took down her opponent 6-1, 6-1 to give the Jaguars their 27th straight victory in Mobile. 

"It's nice to be back home after a couple of long and grueling road trips", said head coach Dr. Jaco Keyser. "I thought we played good today. The girls came out ready by having great energy levels and executing the fundamentals at a decent clip. We need to rest up and get ready for another tough one tomorrow".

South will have a quick turnaround as they host Texas State Sunday at 10:00 AM.
