MOBILE, Ala. | South Alabama women's golf team will return to action this week when it competes at the Pinetree Intercollegiate presented by Henssler Financial and hosted by Kennesaw State at the Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw, Ga.

The two-day, 54-hole tournament is set to get underway on Monday morning with a 7 a.m. (CT) start on the par 72, 6,201-yard course. Final round action will start on Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. (CT) with a shotgun start as well. Live scoring link for each round will be available on USAJaguars.com. 

Along with the Jags and host Owls, the 12-team field includes Bradley, Central Arkansas, Eastern Kentucky, Florida Gulf Coast, Lee University, Notre Dame, Texas Tech, UAB, ULM and UNC Ashville.

South Alabama will be paired with Bradley, Lee, Texas Tech, UAB and UNC Ashville tee off on holes 1 and 10 in the opening round.

Scheduled to compete for the Jaguars at the tournament are Katharina Schroll (No. 1), Mercedes Aldana (No. 2), Malia Uyeshiro (No. 3), Anna Behnsen (No. 4) and Cassidy Lambert (No. 5). 

All five have been solid out on the links this season – Schroll (72.7), Aldana (72.9), Uyeshiro (74.6), Behnsen (74.8) and Lambert (75.3). Schroll has fired a team-best nine rounds at par or under, including four rounds under 70, and has a team-best 61 birdies. Aldana has recorded five rounds under par, while Behnsen has four rounds under 70. Behnsen has carded 44 birdies and an eagle. Aldana and Uyeshiro are close behind with 42 and 35 birdies, respectively.

As a team, South Alabama finished inside the top four in five of its six team events and is averaging 292.9 strokes per round.
