MOBILE, Ala. – The South Alabama Track and Field program will kick off the outdoor season at Jaguar Track in the South Alabama Invitational on Friday, March 14, and Saturday, March 15.

The competition will begin on Friday at 2 p.m. CT with the javelin and close under the lights with the men's 3000 meters at 7:50 p.m. CT. Saturday starts with women's 1500 meters at 8 a.m. CT.
Indoor Season Recap
- South Alabama is coming off an indoor season where the men's team finished in sixth place and women placed 13th in the Sun Belt Championships.
- Nic Glass had a standout performance in the heptathlon, posting a PR point total of 5185 points with three top-three finishes in the long jump, 60 meters, and pole vault to earn runner-up honors at the conference championships and move up to No.3 all-time in the event in the South Alabama record books.
- Sacha Perrier picked up two bronze medals at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships in the 3000 meters (8:16.93) and the mile (4:08.69).
- Dianna Goodman was the lone Jaguar woman to claim all-conference honors, posting a clearance of 3.98 meters (13'.75") to secure third place.
- Kendal White smashed a 49-year-old school record in the 60-meter hurdles (7.84) in the indoor season and snagged a bronze medal at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships with a time of 8.01.
- True Freshman Presleigh Montalvo shattered the school record in the 60 meters with a time of 7.51 at the Vanderbilt Music City Challenge.
- Five Jaguar freshmen etched their names into the South Alabama Indoor record books.
