LAFAYETTE, La. - South Alabama, along a stellar second round, finished in sixth place at the 40th Louisiana Classics.

South Alabama (300-281-291–872) finished with three different players in the top 20, with Kevin Dahlberg leading the team in 12th place, also leading the team with six birdies in the final round. Dahlberg shot up six spots in the third round, shooting 74-70-70–214 for a two-under week.

The Jags rode the roller coaster Monday, tied for 11th after round one, then shot up to sixth after the 281 round two, fourth best score of the tournament. USA evened out in the final round Tuesday, with no overall movement on the scoreboard by 291 round.
