NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Sun Belt Conference has announced the seeding and bracket for the upcoming Hercules Tires Men's Basketball Tournament hosted in Pensacola, Fla. and the South Alabama men's basketball team has clinched the No.1 seed for the first time since 2008. 

The South Alabama Jaguars earned a spot in the semifinals of the Sun Belt Conference Championship Tournament after clinching a share of the Sun Belt Regular Season Title on Wednesday night. They defeated Louisiana 63-42 at the Mitchell Center, marking their first regular-season Sun Belt championship in seven seasons under Coach Richie Riley, and their first overall since 2008. 

With the victory, the Jaguars secure a bye to the conference semifinals, which are set for Sunday, March 9 at 5 p.m. CT. Now, they only need two more wins at the Pensacola Bay Center to reach the NCAA tournament for the first time in 17 years.The entire bracket and schedule can be found below.
