HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - First-Team All Conference and Second-Team All Conference recipients Charleen Elizondo and Xavier Johnson will represent the Jaguars competing individually at the NCAA South Regional on Friday in Huntsville, Ala.

The regional race will see a step-up in distance with the women running the 6k and the men's side competing in the 10k. The women are set for 8:30 a.m. while the men are to start at 9:30 a.m. Elizondo and Johnson will return to a course they previously ran this season at the Southern Showcase with John Hunt Park playing host.

Notable:

• Elizondo set a personal best at the SBC Championships last time out and earned a third place finish claiming First-Team All Conference honors after a very successful season, leading the Jaguar women in all five events this season.
• Johnson set a personal best of his own at the SBC Championships, with tenth place in the field earning the senior Second-Team All Conference honors.
